Spiritual Healing

A Spiritual Healing Practitioner is... “someone who acts as a conduit between the spiritual realm and the world of thought and uses the medicine and wisdom of the bible, sacred writings, prayer and meditation, along with other healing modalities to bring about healing and balance.”

But what is a Spiritual Healing?

” Spiritual Healing” is an integration of the mind, body, soul and spiritual elements based upon the belief that all healing begins in the spiritual realm.

A spiritual practitioner is trained to recognize that all illnesses have a spiritual component and that everything is connected–the spiritual, emotional, physical and mental. Therefore, if one of these systems is out of balance the disharmony can be felt within the entire energetic field or web. The goal of a healing is to create balance within this web and create harmony where there is a disconnect.  A spiritual practitioner is trained to work in the spiritual realm and identify the root cause of the dis-ease.  Some of the tools the spiritual practitioner uses are storytelling, listening and discernment.  Applying spiritual wisdom brings about healing and restoration for the whole person.

Practitioners and their training vary greatly and each specialize in their own field.  Generally, in a spiritual healing session the practitioner will use certain tools to assist in moving the unwanted or blocked energy. Depending on the tradition, some tools may be guided meditations, essential oils, sacred music, herbal or plant medicines, and energy therapy, to name a few.

If you are feeling helpless and hopeless, please consider a Spiritual Healing session.  We address issues of anxiety, depression, stagnancy and apathy in habits, PTSD, triggering of past events, or chronic illness that you don’t necessarily know the root cause of. These are just a few examples of blocked energies that a spiritual healing session could address. Healings are performed with the understanding that it’s not actually the practitioner that is doing the healing work-but God; the practitioner is simply a qualified, skilled and experienced vessel who has developed a long-term relationship with the spirit world. Spirit can now work through the practitioner to facilitate the healing.

The participation of the client is imperative as intention plays an enormous role in the efficacy of a spiritual healing. If a client refuses to disengage from one’s suffering, then a spiritual healer can be of little service. But if one is willing, a spiritual healer can engage and activate the spiritual and self-healing capacities of the body that are often overlooked or pushed aside by traditional therapies and modern medicine.
